Thomas Winegarden, MD, DLFAPA, is a board-certified Adult and Addictions Psychiatrist and the Founder and Medical Director of Stone Creek Psychiatry in Chanhassen. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his psychiatry residency through the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Winegarden serves as the team psychiatrist for the Minnesota Timberwolves and serves as a member of the National Basketball Association Mental Health Committee. He has been recognized as one of Minnesota’s Top Psychiatrists in the 2024 and 2025 editions of Mpls. St. Paul Magazine’s Top Doctors. Dr. Winegarden has also been honored as a Distinguished Lifetime Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (DLFAPA) for his contributions to the field.
